check engine light on

Recommended Posts

Hello All,

My journey's check engine light was on after I got it about 15days.

The dealer replaced ECU,it gone off, but after about 10 days(around 300KM), it came on again.

I searched the forum and found that it seemed to be a common issue.

Could you share your soluation if you got the same issue?

Thanks a lot.

I had the engine light two times and both times it was a different problem.

The first time, it was the Canister. The check engine light was on all the time.

The second time, it was the EGR valve. The engine light could be off the morning and after 2 hours, it was on. The day after, it was off again and some time after it was on.

Actually, a check engine light can be caused by a lot of things...

I have a similar problem. The Check engine light came on at 100km and the dealer reset it and said it was an O2 problem. Now it has come on again at 200k. They want me to come in again to check it... they assure me that it is a minor issue and that it will be resolved soon and that they have never seen it before???

I’m waiting to see what will happen when I take it back.
