Dodge Journey Guide Posted September 12, 2007 Report Share Posted September 12, 2007 Chrysler unveils Dodge Journey crossover in Frankfurt Chrysler LLC, at its first major car show since splitting with its German partner Daimler, unveiled its new Dodge Journey crossover, which will be launched in the United States next spring. Announcing the world premiere of the new vehicle, Michael Manley, executive vice president, international sales, said the new Chrysler planned to carry on the recent successes of sales outside North America. Chrysler subsidiary Dodge is building up its product line in Europe, launching three cars in the last two years -- the Caliber, Avenger and the Nitro SUV. The Caliber is currently the biggest seller outside North America, with sales exceeding 21,000 units so far this year, but Manley said the Journey would probably supplant the Caliber as the No. 1 model.
