autotad Posted June 27, 2014 Report Share Posted June 27, 2014 Thought I would chime in on the brakes issues.... I have a 2010 Journey SXT AWD, 3.5 V6. We have about 70k miles on the car. The last set of rotors and pads I put on the front only lasted about 20,000 miles. This time I bought a higher end set from Autozone. Bought the Duralast Gold rotors and pads for the front. Journey_SeXT Posted June 27, 2014 Report Share Posted June 27, 2014 I just recently did the same except using Advance Auto's Wearever brand.which I am very happy with. We'll see how long they last but for now I and especially the wife are very happy that it stops without the shaky steering wheel. I won't be doing the bigger brake upgrade cuz rotors are pretty cheap and I haven't got fed up to the point of investing that much money and time to replacing them.
