DTSGUY Posted April 5, 2014 Report Share Posted April 5, 2014 (edited) I added Remote Start to my 2010 Journey on April 4th 2014. It works great. The parts that were used are listed bellow in the link. It works using my factory key fob. All I do is press my lock button 3 times and it starts and flashes the lights. I had it installed by a professional cause there are things that need to be done other than hooking up wires. He had to flash my key fob and you need software for your computer to do this. Im sure its available for anyone but I wanted it done right. He had to run a wire to my lights to make them flash and he added a kill switch to my hood as a precaution. You can add the Smart Start feature to it if you want to, this will allow you to use a smart phone to start your car and lock and unlock it.
