Rear Suspension Squating

Recommended Posts

I just had my Dodge Journey taken to the dealer two days after Christmas Day, i happen to look at the back tires and the inner 1 to 2 inches had worn past the the Steel Belting. Once it was on the flatbed Tow Truck you could tell the the suspension had dropped and was riding on the inner portion of the tire. I've only got 10,000 on it and the back tires were rotated at 5k so the wear was quick.

So far with the holidays I'm waiting on what Dodge wants to do, They needed more measurements of the ride height in front and rear today. The service manager said the engineers have been looking into this but have not created a TSB, Etc. They are thinking about replacing the springs and struts to correct.

Other than this it's been a great car.
