NorthStar1 Posted May 25, 2013 Report Share Posted May 25, 2013 I've been looking for a rear mat or pad for the back end when all seats are down but have only been able to locate the ones where the third row is down but not the second. I decided to make my own and went to Lowe's where I purchased a 5x7 rug with memory foam backing and cut it to fit. I didn't want black as he's a light colored dog thus Red to match the interior stitching in the black leather was a good match. NorthStar1 Posted May 25, 2013 Author Report Share Posted May 25, 2013 The reason I went for the carpet with memory foam on the back was to ensure water/liquids woudn't soak through. It truly protects the OEM carpet. Total cost was $60 for the carpet and about an hour of my time. If anyone needs the measurements, I'll be glad to provide. In Canada they wanted $150 + 13% HST. I was in New York and got one for $80 w/taxes. Works great, but a bigger map would be awesome as well. !
