GET CARTER Posted March 30, 2013 Report Share Posted March 30, 2013 I decided to give my car a hand wash today and I noticed that nearly all my windows are scratched, to me it looks like scratches caused by a window scraper being used in the winter time. Now I use the same scrapper on both of my vehicles and the journey is the only one with scratches, has anyone else run into this problem? air1rfc Posted April 7, 2013 Report Share Posted April 7, 2013 I have the same situation but only on the front window. It scratches way too easy. I have scratches running every which way. Some are likely scrapper as they run right to left. Some are in the same direction as the wiper travel so arced. Some others are up and down likely from washing. I plan on having the side windows tinted and will ask the glass folks their opinion. I have never seen this issue on any of my past vehicles. It is strange.
