Francesco Vigotti Posted March 28, 2013 Report Share Posted March 28, 2013 Hi to all, i have a question.All the Dodge Journey and the Fiat Freemont have a Optima Redtop Battery, that is 25,4 cm (10 inches) in lenght.Can i install a battery that is almost long 11 inches (27, 8cm)?It's the battery tray big enough?Anyone (Dodge care ie) knows the battery tray dimensions?ThankYou! badnick2001 Posted November 21, 2013 Report Share Posted November 21, 2013 as long as the battery fits the space and has the same or higher CCA rating, its ok to use. I'm not going to go remove mine to check for you, you'll have to decide that on your own. But just so you know, there are only 2 or 3 battery manufactures, they stick labels on for the different companies that sell the batteries.
