rhaught
Ok, I have stood buy Dodge through the bad wiring harness, the air bag, the winshield washetc etc. But i have to draw the line now. The evaporator coil (inside ) broke on my 2009 dodge journey. I do have high miles, but i would think that really does not effect the ac. I cvalled Dodge and they told me...tough luck. I think that a $1,400 repair on a 3 year car is ridiculous!!. Anyways, has anyone else had the problem? Is this a design flaw? Why would the make it so you have to remove the entire dash to get to a part?

mreed773
I also have a 09 Journey. At around 40K the A/C started to smell. I took it to a shop to have a clean and deorderize done and still did not resolve the issue. I called to talk to Dodge as I have also had a number of other issues with the vehicle and got poor poor customer service they were very rude and short. People ask why so many purchase none "American" Vehciles....simple customer service and they don't stand behind their product. I would never purchase another Dodge vehicle again and would suggest to other to avoid Dodge since once they have your money they don't care about if you happy or not. Considering that the 2011/2012 has a brand new engine doesn't mean that their will be no future issues with the vehicle.....too soon to say until a couple of years and miles are put on the car. Just be happy that all is well up to this point.

If your warranty has expired then don't think that import dealerships will treat you any better.
