19InBlkJrny
Looks awesome Rob!! Nice work. About your typhoon intake, is that made for the journey or I've heard some guys using the avenger intake fitting it to a journey. Thanks again for the pics, ride looks sweet! robbabn
Looks awesome Rob!! Nice work. About your typhoon intake, is that made for the journey or I've heard some guys using the avenger intake fitting it to a journey. Thanks again for the pics, ride looks sweet! Omar It's made for the Avenger 3.5L engine. The mod you will have to make is with the fresh air intake scoop. The Journey will not fit into the K&N heat shield as it was made to fit the Avenger. All I did was take the existing hose from the engine to the OEM air box and cut it to run from the fresh air intake scoop to the heat shield. At least in my Journey the heat shield fit snug and perfect without having to use the screws provided to secure it in the engine bay, I have been driving it for about a month with no issues of it coming loose. Here's a link of the instructions and maybe you can see what I am talking about. Good luck. http://www.knfilters.com/instructions/69-2543_inst.pdf. Thanks for the comment. 19InBlkJrny
I had to read it a couple of times, but I think I got what you're saying, Thanks that sounds a lot easier than other explainations. Again, thanks and great looking DJ. Omar
