ImaTrucker Posted August 11, 2011 Report Share Posted August 11, 2011 Hello, everyone I am new to the forum and I'm here because I'm thinking about buying a Dodge Journey. I currently have an 03 Dodge Dually and an 05 Dodge Magnum. I will be trading the Magnum IF a trade happens. I love my Magnum but I need something a little more heavy-duty. I would like to haul more than a small utility trailer. My two main concerns are fuel mileage (of course, lol) and the towing capacity. Does anyone haul anything significant with their Journey? Any input is greatly appreciated - I will listen to the good, the bad, and the ugly. In the meantime, I'm going to nose around on here and see what everyone's saying. Armendegga Posted August 11, 2011 Report Share Posted August 11, 2011 Hey there! If you are wanting to tow, I'd definitely make sure you get a Journey with the trailer tow prep package... That will allow towing of up to 3500 lbs. i believe without the tow prep, you can only tow 2000 or 2500. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
