Roxie Posted May 21, 2008 Report Share Posted May 21, 2008 I just got my Journey and I put the first movie on and it worked like a charm (kids loved it!) after parking and starting the vehicle again, the DVD system displayed a messaged that said "reading" and latter the message "invalid media type". I tried opening the system and it displayed a message that said "No disc" (the DVD was inside) after a few times opening and closing the screen it finally released the movie, I put it in again and it kept displaying the message: "Invalid media type". So we listened to music instead, but I had 3 very disappointed kids. As I got home I tried to show my husband the problem so I turned the DVD on again and it stared working like a charm... Also I did notice that If the movie has not stared before I start driving the systems says Chanel 0 and does not play the movie, I tried the owners manual and the VES manual but they don´t say much.
