skulnick04 Posted yesterday at 08:47 AM Report Share Posted yesterday at 08:47 AM Talking the section that's horizontal just behind the hatch. Where loading something would receive the most wear/tear. A lot of other vehicles have a black plastic trim piece covering this area. I first tried a "universal solution". Lasted about a year. Car washes etc the water just got underneath and it peeled off. Then I used weatherstripping adhesive to attach it better. Got a couple more months. Finally ripped all that off and was using a decal remover/whizz wheel to remove the adhesive. What I thought was the heat spreading the weatherstripping adhesive (was at first) was actually stripping the paint off. White car Ended up buying something else that the whole entire bottom is a more foamy/vinyl decal. It's holding up fairly well except the ends. Was gonna try to heat them up to reattach. Any insight?
