New owner of Journey, 3rd Dodge

Well I'm the proud owner of our first new car in 11yrs. Our most recent driver was/is a 2000 Dodge Stratus we purchased end of year 99. Up until that point my last Dodge owned was in 1989 after that car I swore I'd never buy a Dodge again it was a horror story! And we drove Japanese cars up until 2000. We bought the Stratus because it was the least expensive car out at the time, that was capable of carrying 3 car seats. But the Stratus ended up being a great car never giving as a moments trouble only regular maintenance issues. Now we already had 3 cars so we didn't really need the Journey but with three teenage kids and all their friends and all the other stuff that you do/acquire as well as our location in the country, we decided a larger car and this time an SUV was the best choice. We looked at the Mitsubishi Outlander, the GMC Acadia, the Kia Sorento and Borrego, the Mazda CX9, the Saturn Outlook, and the Hyundai Vera Cruze. All of them way overpriced and just not "wow" enough (except for the Outlander. what an awesome stereo!) for us to make a purchase. Then I saw and ad for the Journey and suggested we go look at it...since the Stratus did so well why not and we'll go back to the same dealership? And what a great idea that was! We scored a 2010 SXT AWD with all the bells and whistles and with an MSRP of 29k for 18.5k otd. ,plus full service warranty for 5yrs. Needless to say we are overly happy and so far our Journey has been perfect except for the higher than expected fuel usage. It handles snow like other cars drive in the dry! My whole family fits with room for more, its quite, smooth and unexpectedly handles pretty darn good for a midsized SUV, a veritable sports car compared to my brother in-laws Chevy Tahoe! It could use 15-20 more horsepower (for my taste) but does all the town and highway driving with aplomb! And as far as looks go...its different not the standard breadbox everyone else is driving around in!
