MrCods Posted December 10, 2023 Report Share Posted December 10, 2023 Hi, I have code P0638 in a 2008 2.0L turbo diesel FWD and RHD help please (Australia import) On a side note it seems to also be throwing PO671 PO672 PO673 PO674 I am sure that these are probably related to the initial PO638 issue (Throttle activator Control Range/Performance Bank 1) I have no idea what or where this is or do I just need to clean my Throttle Body? Runs fine-ish most of the time but sometimes runs rough and stalls at traffic lights (not enjoyable) Also when flooring it to overtake it feels like it misses or not smooth. If I stop and turn key off and then turn it back on it seems to solve problem most of the time and run just fine until next time it happens. I can feel when it is going to happen as the car surges slightly while driving or the engine wont hold a steady idle and surges or stalls. (happens mostly at traffic lights as it only stalls when idling) I would appreciate any help or suggestions. I have exhausted Youtube and Google but as its 2008 and Right Hand Drive I cannot find any info. Sorry if its a dumb question but I have never owned a Dodge or any other American/Mexican car before.
