I own a 2011 Journey SXT with the 3.6L engine. I would like to buy a RV and I have a few questions...
The manual says that my maximum towing capacity is 2,000 lbs (without the trailer tow prep package) and up to 3,500 lbs (with the trailer tow prep package)... This is quite of a significant difference.... Page 406/407 -> http://www.autodealertools.com/quickQuote/manuals/2011/Journey.pdf
My vehicle already has a hitch with a 4 PIN connector, but i don't know if it has the "Trailer tow prep package"???
Question 1:
How do i know if the tow prep pacakge has been installed or not?
Question 2:
I would require a 7 PINs connector for electric brake. I've heard they are a challenge to get installed... Is it true?
