I understand it will continue to run/ idle without the key fob in the car but Im surprised if it was drivin without the key fob it wouldn't shut down after a certain distance like other push to start vehicles.

I got the curt hitch and wiring harness. No issues
-
Put 50K on mine before it was totaled with no problems ever. Changed the oil, tires and brakes. Never a trip back to the dealer and nothing ever broke or went wrong. Surprised at its reliability and how dependale it was, hence the reason I went out and bought another DJ. I was was putting 3k a miles a month, mostly hard mileage, city life, stop and go, and trailer towing, my DJ outperformed me, recommended it to everybody.

It also says Hero on the mopar owner connect website in your dashboard. But thanks for clarifying that Hero model was just the SXT cause I was wondering why my sticker on my windshield said Hero Red

Hope you got the drivers information and filed a police report. Proably be enough where you going to want to go through insurance

Nah, I see it all the time' people take everything out of a car when they sell it, manuals, mats, cargo nets, anything not tied down. Lol
-
I believe its 30K for fhe 4cyc and 100K on the 3.6
-
Actually funny the back wore worse then the front but it could be from daily towing
-
I tow my 5X8 on the regular. Trailer is approx 900lbs empty and I load it up to 2,500lbs of cargo, no issues. Try not to go above 3,500 lbs but I've heard they lowered the maxium capacity to 2,500 lbs.

By 30k the Kuhmos had metal showing through. Went with Pirellis

Nope, not yet

I did check the fluid, it's still in the master cylinder,it's below the full line but above the low line. What I meant by sealed is brake fluid isn't a fluid you top off on the regular or burn like motor oil. I understand pad wear lowers fluid level but I've have plenty of cars wear brakes down and it never tripped the brake light.

I have this same issue. I know it's not the parking brake because if you have the parking brake on and put the truck in drive the "BRAKE" light flashes. I was sitting at a light, heard a loud beep and and when I looked at the dask the word "BRAKE" was illuminated. I know you guys probably say check the brake fluid, which is on my list to do but brake system is a sealed system.

@Journeyman425. That means mine went out already on a 2013 SXT.
-
Easy question. Are the buttons that control the side mirrors, the left and right button and the up/down/left/right switch supposed to illuminate at night. Mine don't and I can't remember if it did and went out or never did. Thank you

I have the blacktop, gave the dealer my vin and was told the grill was 350 dollars and that it no longer comes factory painted anymore.
-
6x12 that's a bit trailer, surprised it's not dual rear wheels. I worry when the transmission, oil or coolant goes above 230 degrees when towing. I usually tow around 3,500 pounds about 300 to 600 miles a month

Every dealer has there own rules. Some dealers give rentals and some don't.

There a coil pack on each spark plug. They hardly ever go bad. How many miles.

@jkeaton. Thank You. So I upload to photobucket and then copy the link and paste it in a post and the picture will show up.

Just a few photos of my truck. Tried to upload photos but keeps saying size to big to upload. http://s435.photobucket.com/user/Woah322/library/Journey

I do 5-6k on full synthetic since the first oil change. I've never had to add
-
I put over 30k of hard mileage on mine and I think I've only seen that oil change come on twice. It's the most inaccurate oil life monitoring on a modern vehicle. I understand it usage based and not mileage based but has no way to check the actual percentage of oil life remaining.

Are the nerf bars universal fit or vehicle specific and we're there ordered online?I come from a world of tuner cars, mostly Nissan and Subaru. I was stationed in Japan for 16.5 years while serving in the Navy. Wife convinced me to buy something more practical....
I love my Journey...but I can never leave well enough alone...
Added WeatherTech Window Vent Visors, WeatherTech Front Deflector, Tinted the front windows and a banner added to the windshield. I also had some Nerf bars powder coated black and added today.
Still toying with the idea of lowering it a bit with the H&R springs and having a Magnaflow added....

I have a lightbar installed behind the lower grill but hate the way it's mounted, what did you secure yours to cause zip ties just don't cut it for me.
