  1. well I have to say I'm impressed.. I have a 2013 ram 1500 bighorn and I love everything about it !!!!! This past week I had to go to Calgary AB for work. I live in Vancouver BC and it's about a 10 hr drive through the mountains. I usually like taking my truck on long drives cuz it's so comfy and powerful. My wife was coming with me this time so i decided to take her 2014 DJ RTR to see how it would do. I have to say it did pretty good. It doesn't have the passing power of my truck but it does have better cornering and the ride is just as smooth. I averaged 25.5 mpg which considering how much climbing i had to do is pretty good. Navigation, auto climate and the lumbar supported power seats all made the drive very comfortable.... not going to lie the journey wasn't my first choice... my wife didn't want a mini van but needed extra seating... the salesman sold us on a DJ RTR but i was kind of regretting it after the leaky sunroof incident... well it totally redeemed itself on this road trip.
  2. thanks Jouneyman your statement totally makes sense. I had a 2010 challenger with the 3.5 and that felt more responsive...my wife's car is the journey my vehicle is a ram 1500 with the 8 spd and hemi, so i guess I'm just used to a more responsive throttle feel. bigstr winter gas formula totally slipped my mind lol.
  3. So I went through the car wash twice without any problems whew!!! My only other concern is considering the pentstar is also in the challenger, I'm concerned that my rt doesn't feel as powerful as it should. In the challenger the pentistar feels adequate. Also my fuel mileage isn't as good as I thought I'd be getting with 1700 km I'm averaging 17.2 L/100 km...not much better than my 2013 ram 1500 bighorn that averages 18.5
  4. So the dealership just called... their specialist found that the sun roof was out of alignment so they corrected it and it should solve the problem... sure do hope so ... im picking it up after work today and taking it straight to a car wash... wish me luck
  5. Journeyman thanks for the info... I just hope this specialist really is one lol. Debra I'm so glad you finally got your situation resolved I just hope mine isn't as bad.. I really do love Chrysler products and I stand by them but it's true though, a lot of their dealerships lack customer service. I'm on my third one; I'm sure Chrysler has lost a lot of customers due to this.
  6. thank you Journeyman... I called the dealership and they said they can look at it on Thursday because they have a specialist they contract that comes once a week to just do leaks.. weird a leak specialist.. never knew they existed.. I'll keep you posted
  7. wow I really wish i would've seen this feed before.... my wife just bought a 2014 rt rallye. Yesterday i took it to a car wash and water came through the sun roof, not a lot but still enough to alarm me....After reading what Debra went through I'm scared at what I will have to go through. I called the dealership and the service guy asked if i was sure the roof was closed !!!! ( are you kidding me?!!!) I hope it's not an omen of things to come. I'm a Chrysler guy through and through this is my 6th Chrysler product and I've loved everyone of them but I'm sorry a 40 thousand dollar car should not have a leaky roof. Cross my fingers
