  1. Supposedly, the electronics monitors how hard the engine is worked for the change interval. I am sure they take a conservative approach. I put in Mobil One anyway and will continue to change at 6000 miles, whatever that is in kilometers (or is that kilometres?). :D
  2. I would highly recommend this car, er SUV, crossover.... :D It has a lot of storage space with the third seat down. I personally find the vehicle very quiet on the road. Any road noise in My 2009 SXT is very minimal. I can hold a general conversation with folks in the third row without even raising my voice. I rent a lot of cars in my travels and I consistently enjoy getting back to my Journey. I rode in a rented Toyota minivan recently and I could not hold a conversation with the front seat. I recently bought mine and they seem to have worked most of the problems out now. And hey, with a lifetime powertrain warranty guaranteed by the Federal govt, how can you go wrong?
  3. I really can't complain about the seat fold down "issue" I think it is a small price to pay for a rear seat that can slide back for extra room and recline, also! For those that don't like the shifting on the six-speed auto, you might try disconnecting the battery for about a minute to reset the "smart" tranny. It is supposed to adjust to your driving style, but sometimes it gets out of whack. I personally love the six-speed for climbing the mountains here in Colorado. I just keep dropping gears to keep the desired speed on any pass (usually 72 mph). And hey, with a lifetime powertrain warranty guaranteed by Barack Obama, how can you go wrong?
