this would make the journey sick! Anyone e else have the enhanced suspension? My rt does , can't wait till summer when I can really get a feel for high speed cornering. That drives me crazy also. The shift schedule is programmed much like the current Town & Country/Grand Caravan which is equipped with an "econ" switch. Engaging the "econ" mode creates a shift schedule in which the tranny gets into the highest gears as quickly as possible to maximize fuel economy. If you defeat the econ mode, the RPMs are allowed to climb and the lower gears hang a little longer for improved driveability. Grand Cherokees have it too, as well as a Sport mode which really lets the engine wind out. I wish the Journey were equipped with this feature, and given the sportier nature of this vehicle, I'm surprised that it doesn't have it. The only way to get around it is to Autostick.

I also have a spray coating under , rubberized type . I got it because we see mostly gravel road use.

Anyone driven in moderate mud and ruts? To town is almost 200k to pavement ! Spring can be right nasty , non issue for my 98 ram but the journey is lower. I got the v6 and awd 2014

Today on a trip I went from a gravel road onto the highway at about half throttle, the wife was like" what's wrong? Why you flooring it?" I said I'm not flooring it that's just the awesome engine in our journey. Later alone, I floored it on a snowy road with no wheelspin and it felt like the fastest car I've been in!

Thanks fellow journeymen. My tpms went back to ok on its own so it must a been the severe cold snap we had messing with it. Minus 30- 50celsius for a week! Avg temp minus 40

I was just wondering how to find out where my new pentastar engine was made? Does this matter really or what today? I read on some problems with the Mexican made versions. Just curious, the engine is performing just fine at 600km+ seems to be breaking in just fine.

My 2014 rt has the purple oat antifreeze . I was like " purple? Interesting " I hope it don't cost and arm and a leg though to top up.
-
My 14 rt also says 5w20 starts well in extreme low temps, plugged in when below minus 25 c. Odd squeel/ hum noise time time but I attribute it to extreme cold and it isn't every time.

How do I post pics? I wanna show of my brand new rt!

Just checked front tires with my pen guage, its reading 29/30 psi
-
My new blizzaks say 44 psi, should I go by that or 240+ kpa like my tpms is telling me to inflate to. Only the front right tire is tripping the low tire light but I get different readings sometimes. Its also been extremely cold where I live -30c and lower. Any advice? 2014 journey rt on 18 inch winter tires. The dealer installed the sensors for the smaller winter wheels as well.
-
My dealer threw on some 18 in blizzack winter tires with wheels and new tpms sensors. Cost more but so far no sliding at all even with speeds up to 80km/ hr! Still got the 19 khumos and chrome clad wheels sitting in my basement. They will look slick in summer. The dealer covered 600$ of the 1200 wheels replacement cost which was nice.

We just got a journey rt, 2014 granite crystal metallic! Slapped on some 18 in winter tires and I gotta say, she looks pretty mean even with winter grime. I shall post pics later today.

Just happened to my 2014 , we got it Christmas eve and have had a very cold winter so far in northern Alberta. Got it fixed under warranty, even though we bought it at a different city! No hassle took about an hour .The tech also said they're trying out a new cold weather PS fluid which was cool.hoping for more good fortune after the first fix.
