  1. Hi, Maverick...my 2013 3.6 also has that whine...I can hear it @idle and as I'm accelerating, but once I'm @ cruise speed ,it isn't as audible. The noise went away when the dealer removed the serp. belt..so it's something being spun by the belt.
  2. I have 2,000 km(1200 miles) on my Journey...I don't accelerate hard, and mine won't shift into 6th until 90 kph(56 mph). Once over 80(50 mph) and not accel.anymore,I have to go into manual mode and select 6th,then go back to Auto...it will hold the gear nicely, tach reads 1250 rpm and uses less fuel. The main road I use is 80 kph, so I'm always having to use manual and then go back to Auto. Seems to me that if the tranny is content to do 80-85 in 6th(in Auto once it is "forced" there),it should do that on it's own. I tried to go into 6th @ 70-75kph but the tranny will not allow it...probably a good thing as the revs would be too low.
  3. I purchased a Curt hitch and wiring harness(for LED rear lights)...plugged it all in as per the instructions and my trailer lights worked. I didn't need to use that plug at the rear(it must be for the Dodge harness?). I'm thinking that you only need to flash the computer if you are using the Dodge harness. To install, take off the rear lights and plug the Curt connectors in...simple! I did need to run a power wire to the battery with the Curt harness.
