I will transfer my current vanity plate to the Journey, Once it arrives. I've had it for years and it ended up on the wife's car after we got married, as I didn't want to lose the plate when we went from a 2 car family to 1 car & 1 pickup truck. The truck had to have a commercial or Combo plate so I couldn't transfer my vanity plate to it. That all said, once the Journey arrives, it will be adorned with the vanity plate: SCARY-1 And the truck as long as we are talking plates has: 2-SCARY

I had a dream the other night that our new Journey had arrived, but it had all of this wrong stuff installed. The dealer kept apologizing and offering the un-ordered additions for free. But I didn't want the built in refrigerator, 4th & 5th row seats and dual steering wheels... Very bizarre

If I don't go waaay back... AMC Eagle Pontiac Grand Am Isuzu Pup Chevy Corsica and then 3 Pontiac Minivans and a dodge 1500 pickup

We test drove that. It looked blue/silver from one angle. Almost Green/silver from another. It was my second choice for a color

Our dealer asked for $500 deposit. Seemed reasonable. He also said that once the car arrives, we have 7 days to close the deal.

We were quoted $1900 and $2400 for the "Better plan" and "Best Plan" We're still debating. I'm wondering how much the dealer is willing to negotiate on those quotes.

Ordered our Journey on 4-22-08 Told it will be delivered in 6-8 weeks Ordered Inferno Red SXT AWD with Flex Seating, tow prep & Conv Pkg 1 Got the 1K rebate and since my brother is a 5 Star mechanic, got another $1k off Worked on the price some with the dealer and finally agreed on a price Final cost before trade in or down payment is $23k. Not bad With our Down payment we're financing $18k. Got a 4.9% finance rate from AAA. We're pleased.
