  1. Brucebotti, sorry about the wife and your car. I know the feeling of the wife wanting to drive your car. My wife borrows my Ram all the time, Lol. It will only get worse if your wife is anything like mine. I took our Journey in to the dealer and they told me the same thing. Other than that we have had great luck so far and really enjoying the smooth ride and smooth acceleration from our 3.6. How many miles do you have on your Journey?
  2. Love the upgrade!! Do you have back up camera on your new 8.4? I really would like to do this with my DJ. I have Bluetooth, SAT, and rear climate controls as well and was hoping all this still works after installation.
  3. That's good to know. Just wanted to make sure it was normal and not something that I might need to be concerned about. I have noticed a lot of newer vehicles that do it every time you crank them. Not only on a cold start but even warm starts. Must be new technology and the way things are manufactured these days.
  4. Hope your car serves you well!! I have a 2012 white SXT that I purchased in Oct. So far so good for us and it really drives nice too. Smooth handling and strong pulling with the 3.6 V6. Good luck with it and enjoy!!
  5. I have just purchased a 2012 Journey SXT for my wife. We love it so far but I noticed the other day on a cold start that it ticked for about 1 second after I cranked it up. I just did an oil change with Pennzoil Synthetic at 2200 miles and I am hoping this will help. I have just joined the Journey Forum and would like to know if anyone knows of anything I can do if the Synthetic oil doesn't correct the problem? Thanks for any help!
