the thing is, that when I plug the cord in the aux, even without the ipod connected to the other end, i get the annoying tick tick tick noise, so I plug in the ipod and all i hear is tick tick tick, and my ipod does work, i use it all the time

usb doesn't recognize ipod shuffle, all AUX does when I plug in an aux cord is go "tick...tick...tick...tick..." no music, just the annoying tick souind through the speakers, I tried 2 different cords thinking that was the problem, but no. Here I was alllll excited to use my ipod in the car but noooooo, grrrrrr,
