  1. I have tried the dealership and the dealership then went to chrysler techs themselves yet they say it's a characteristic to my vehicle. I have never heard so much cylinder knock on a vehicle especially when under powered and under load. Under load meaning idling in 6th gear and when slowing down and then resuming gradually the vehicle has a problem going it's like it has no power at all other than low rpm my vehicle. When this is happening my vehicle is at 1,000rpm to 1,100 rpm at 60 to 80 km's an hour. My vehicle once out of 6th gear wants to immediately get back into 6th when I am trying to speed up when in fact it should stay low until my vehicle gets to idle speed. It has Gold Plan warranty on it. 53,000km's. Listen closer to the last half of the youtube video. It's a knock not a tick.
  2. 2010 Dodge Journey SXT knocking in cylinders when vehicle is accelerating, idle at a certain speed and load on engine. I am getting a belt squeal more noticeable when next building. Here is a recording from engine compartment when problem is happening. (Mounted a camera and mic for this recording in engine compartment to record noise for those who can't hear normally) Loss of power, no response when trying to accelerate, drone noise in front and back of passenger side of vehicle http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5zXNx70jJlY
