Speed limits during this trip were 35, 40, 45, and 55 with about 15% of driving being stop & go traffic and no speeding. Decelerated without braking where possible and accelerated with cruise control where possible. For my trouble my new Journey four-cylinder rewarded me and the other three people in the SUV with 30.4MPG. Absolutely fantastic gas mileage. -Robert

John, simply having the controls on the steering wheel won't give you cruise control. Cruise control buttons are supposed to cause signals to be sent to what is usually a type of vacuum system that then holds the pedal where it is when the system is active. You also wouldn't have functions on the cluster by adding the toggle buttons to the steering wheel. Again, those buttons just toggle features built into the vehicle.
