  1. I can sort of get a glance through your profile picture, but yea pictures would be great, im considering the same wheel&tire package!
  2. i've been thinking of putting 235s on my r/t as well. Do they look wider by a fair amount?
  3. So even the 235s on my current rims would cause a problem? This was intended package: 20" RIMS: Offset: +50mmBackspacing: 6.73" Bolt Pattern: 5-127 Rec. Tire Size:245/45-20 Weight: 30.9lbs. this is off of tirerack, which shows tht most 20" rims would require a 245 tire. Now i'm not sure how accurate these generated results usually are.
  4. Hey, I just bought my 2012 journey r/t a week ago and like its so far. The thing that always bothers me is how narrow the rims/tires look. Although this is my first post i've done some reading and research around and I understand that the Kumho tires (225 55 R19) is a size that is rare offmarket. I also understand that the replacement tire is reccommended at 235 55 r19. So I was considering swapping tires and sizing up to the 235s. But the ONLY reason i would do that is because I'd like more width, but im not sure how much wider the 235s will actually look. In other words is it worth it? My second option is new rims + tires. I know you cannot buy 19" rims for the journey so my only option would be 20's. Before buying the journey I asked the dealer if they could add wider rims to my order. They said, and i quote: "we have tried putting wider rims on the journey and we found that they rub when turning on full lock." So that did not really work out for me. My question is, has anyone put on larger rims 20s or 22s and found that it is rubbing? Secondly, if anyone has put on wider tires on existing journey rims (235s or 245s)? If so what was the largest size, and any issues found with that solution? Hopefully i can find a solution soon, any feedback is greatly appreciated, Thanks!
