My dealer was out of stock on everything last couple of months so i went to other dealership were i did inquire first before i get my journey! Good thing they have most of stuff i needed. I already installed mud flaps and hood bug deflector! Something i notice about having bug deflector is it looks very nice but i became hard to reach part when you are cleaning and drying ur car! But all in all its nice!

Im debating if i am getting winter tire. What do you think? What are your experience with khumho solus tire during winter!?

My heated seats is always on high even in not so cold interior! I have to adjust it to low manually every time! It fries my butt. :-(

Are you running the A/C alot or sitting idling or both? Both these, especially idling can really kill your km/l. Are you wearing steel toe boots? :-):-):-)

...and i dont wear a steel boots :-) i drive very gentle on it that i dont actually enjoy its power!

On my next gas refill i will try to drive it a little agressive and observe if it will make lot of difference on my consumption!

Yes im running my a/c all the time on my first 400 km, but recently i turned it off and open my sunroof intstead and im improved from 18.9- 18.3L/100km :-) not a significant amount but hopefully its get better along the way! ...stop light after stop light in my city is killing my fuel consumption!

Chris, Everything with the exception of the Buick "portholes" was ordered through my dealer. I could probably get all the part numbers if you needed them. The chrome, step bars, mirror caps, R/T emblems, sill plates, gas cap etc. plus both air deflectors were all ordered through my dealer in Indian Head.

Windancer, i saw you journey on the gallery and i love how you set it up! I wish i could get that chrome r/t badge on the side! Can you help me find it! Are all mopar accessories have the same price!

Im looking forward to put air deflector and running boards on mine i just dont know where i can get a good deal!!

Am i doing something not right with my 2012 r/t? I got my first full tank on it and i haven't consumed it yet but my distance to empty on my EVIC is only 414 km knowing that it has 79liter tank capacity!

Andmy EVIC says im averaging 21.9L/100km on my first 200 km.

Then i reset my EVIC, now im getting average 18.9L/100km for my another 200km!

But still im not happy with my fuel consumption.

Im driving it really gentle didnt even let its RPM touch to 3000.

Anybody can give advise or fix for it?

But all in all i love my new journey!

I just got my 2012 journey r/t awd and i love it.. One thing that disappoints me is the way it consume gas. Im on my 400k now and the EVICS says im averaging 21.4L/100km most of it is city driving!

To all here having r/t awd, are youguys getting as poor fuel consumption as mine? Im so worried to the fact that im driving as gentle as i can! Will it improve when it get higher mileage or i will be stuck on this very high fuel consumption!!

I just got my journey r/t last august 10 . How can i know when it was built? Is there a place in the vehicle where i can find when it was built! I wanna know how long it was in the dealers yard before i got it!

Mine was built in March and just picked up this week, so I'm assuming this doesn't affect me?

I picked up one yesterday at Canadian Tire and will install it later today when it cools off a little. I will take some photos and report on it when I do it. I looked at it and it seems to fit fine.
