  1. Hey there . . . My wife didn't want me modifying anything on her car without proper instructions (I'm not a car audio guy), so I installed a single din deck and bracket. Super easy install with the single din.
  2. I would LOVE it if I didn't have to modify anything, but it looks like it may be necessary according to this thread. Scroll down to find NormsHGW post. He doesn't explain the method he used to expand the bracket to make room for the double-din, though.
  3. Thank you! That helps verify it for me. Oh, there are no steeering radio buttons in her car. If anyone knows or has experience with modifying the exisiting bracket to make room for the receiver, I'd love to hear.
  4. Hello all . . . My spouse has a 2010 Journey (no frills, just basic model) with the standard AM/FM 6-disc stereo. I don't believe she has the upgraded Infinity speakers or anything. I would like to replace the factory stereo with a Sony XAV-64BT double din touch screen. It's been difficult to find some info on this. I found a bit of info on one thread, but just wondering if anyone else has done this in the 2010 model? - I understand there is a bracket or brace that needs to be expanded or modified. How so? - Do I need something other than the dash kit, harness and antenae? I saw a few places mention an interface, but no info if this is for the higher tier stereo systems or also applies to the stock system. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! Scott
