  1. My impala SS ran better with premium but I used regular most of the time. I find the price of premium in the city crazy, I could usually find it cheaper in the country. In the states I'd always fill up with 93 and have a fun week or two. Costco usually has a good price for premium if you didn't mind the lines. I'll try some premium in the Journey sometime once it is broken in and see if I can feel the difference. Anyway, liking the journey so far. I'm still playing with the auto-stick to see if I can "manually" kick up the performance when I feel like it.
  2. I just picked up my 2012 Journey R/T Rallye this week and I'm really enjoying it so far. I liked the Rallye package as I'm not a big fan of all of the chrome. I needed something that would let me do some geocaching down the back roads and old trails while still being a good daily driver. The nav package is great, I like that is from Garmin and the Alpine stereo give great sound with lots of bass. I'm taking a driving performance hit from my 2006 Impala SS but I'm finding that with a little persuasion that I can get the journey to give me it's own version of performance driving. Thanks for putting up this forum.
  3. From the album: CCCacher's R/T Rallye

Just got back from getting the front windows tinted. It evens out the look.

    R/T Rallye Specs

Well, I take delivery tomorrow and it looks like they've included the rear DVD player for "free", guess I can't really complain then about the seats. Pretty good trade off though. Kids will be happy.
  5. I've been waiting for my RT Rallye for a few weeks now and I stopped in last night and they finally had it on the lot (I'll pick it up tomorrow). Anyways, I noticed that it had the DVD system and I hadn't ordered that. I looked around some other journeys and noticed that the interior roof line was different so I was concerned about them presumably removing it before I took delivery. I asked them about it when they called today and they said they were going to surprise me with it. So, I guess I'm getting it for "free" but I've probably already paid for it somewhere in the price. The kids will be happy anyways. I guess I can't really complain about the missing "RT" embrodery now but that is OK.
  6. Can I get the part #? I have a journey on the way and I too always install a K&N air filter in my vehicles.
  7. I bought one June 8th(R/T Rallye with nav). I was told it would take a day to get the financing approved and then they could do the locate on what I had ordered. They said that there was one in Montreal but they didn't mention until a few days later that is was still on a train waiting to get delivered to the local dealer so of course they can't get it yet. They did say hopefully next week but I'll go in on Monday and get an update. I'm really looking forward to getting it and the wait is killing me but seeing how long other people are waiting is making me think that two weeks might not be so bad (but next time I'll try to find one on the lot before making the deal).

    R/T Rallye Specs

I'll go bug them Monday to see when I can take delivery but I'll hold off on mentioning the missing 'R/T' until I take delivery and am about to sign the final papers.

    R/T Rallye Specs

I have an R/T Rallye on order, apparently it is sitting on a train in Montreal waiting to go to a local dealer then get swapped over to my dealer. (They forgot to mention the "train" part when they said there was one in Montreal). I'll assume that the R/T is missing from the seats, any ideas how I should handle this? I was thinking of getting them to remove the cost of the roof rack from my bill. Or should I hold out for a seat swap if the R/T seats are available in the future.
