I have a 2012 R/T. My Motorola Droid Razr allows text reading on the Journey. The system will only read the texts to you while driving. When parked or stopped at a light, Uconnect will either read the text to you or you can view it on the screen. By the way I have the 8.4 screen with Navigation.
