I am a new Journey owner and a new person to the forum so I am sorry if my question has been posted before.
I have a 2009 Dodge Journey SXT with the REQ radio. It has the Uconnect buttons on the radio but the system itself is not installed because it gives the message of it not being available in my car when I press the buttons. I know it can be installed because I have seen the parts on the Internet but they all have an extra button fob that is very tacky, if my radio has the buttons, would I still need the same kit that has that dumb fob? Or is there a special kit out that does not use that fob? Very sorry if I don't make sense but maybe somebody understands what I am trying to say?
