I do not have navigation, and my MyGig stereo came with Sirius installed.

I have seen a few commercials now for the Journey - most of them have been on Fox

After having a Journey for about 3 weeks now, I can say that my only real complaint has to be the blindspot while changing lanes or backing out of parking spots. I have the rearview camera, but personally, I don't rely on that as much as visually checking things on my own.

I called my dealership today regarding the sunroof rapid response recall and they told me it was done to my vehicle before I took delivery - back on March 15th. Just wanted to point this out that many people who are just now getting the Journey will have probably already had this taken care of and not even know it!

Well, the salesperson originally came back with a price of $22,500 - which shocked the crap out of me. I took it right away with no negotiating. While filling out the credit app he came back QUICKLY and said the finance guy screwed up and look up a Pacifica instead! Luckily, there was a great promo on the Pacifica at the time and the $22,500 they offered me was $4500 off the Pacifica's sticker price. I said if they wanted to keep me then I wanted the same deal on the Journey - and they did it! (I am near Indianapolis, Indiana)

You can use this device (but it is expensive) LockPick. I am also looking for overrides so the screen can be used while the vehicle is in motion. There has to be a cheaper alternative to buying this device - like a simple unlock code.

I bought a R/T FWD loaded (just missing AWD, NAV, and 3rd row seat) that was stickered at $30,500 - negotiated down to $26,000 and was extremely happy with the deal!

The funny thing is, I had never even heard of the Journey until I happened to stumble across 4 of them at my local dealership and fell in love. My dealer told me that he had just gotten them the week before - so I am assuming they are gradually making there way out there to everyone!

Yeah, I saw that youtube video sometime ago and literally RAN OUTSIDE to my car to try it. However, it did not work on my Journey.

Anyone know where I can get an online version of the MyGIG radio manual? I didn't get one with my car!

Anyone figured out a way to play video on the MyGig while the vehicle is in motion (yes, I know it is illegal). Just curious! I have seen units that cost around $300 that will do it - but I am certain there HAS to be some sort of override "code". :unsure:

I have had my Journey for about 3 weeks now and absolutely love it. I bought a Silver Steel R/T here in Indianapolis. Now if only someone figures out a hack for the MyGIG so my wife can view movies while I am driving!
