no i don't mind that it honks when I lock it.. It is letting out a short honk when I unlock it, and then tonight when I was leaving work, it honked again when I opened the door, and again when I got home and the wife opened the passenger side door with out me even locking the door when I got out of it

I just plasti-dipped mine this past weekend.... all I did was taped of the headlights and bumper under the grill, Pulled back the facia so that I could slide a piece of cardboard behind the grill, so i didnt get it on the radiator.. and then sprayed. Looks nice imo... I will be taking pics and posting them after I do the headlights this weekend. (done on a 2010 sxt)

Ok, so I am not sure if it is a horn issue or not, but here goes. I have a 2010 SXT and when I lock the doors with the fob it will honk at me. I make sure that I follow the manual and press the lock with one of the doors open so that it will set the alarm to the on position. But now the past couple of days the alarm wont go off, which is a good think that no one is trying to get into it, but when I hit the unlock on the fob the horn will honk. I figured that I had maybe left something on that was drawing power, like a light or the widshield wiper switch or something that would want to turn on as soon as electricity was pushed through the main harness. So I made sure that everything was fully shut off.... still honked once when I hit the unlock on the fob. So I figured next was a battery issue. Replaced the battery in both of the fobs, as well as checked the battery. Battery in car tested just fine, even under a strong load, but yet woke up this morning and it did it again, as well as when I went out to the vehicle on my lunch. I am out of options as to what could be causing the issue. It is nothing big, but it just drives me insane (kinda like the starter when it is cold) So figured that I would ask on here before I took it into the shop and have them charge me a full paycheck to tell me what the problem is. So I have looked around the forums for a bit and it got me thinking. I saw the post about the 6 disk cd player that I have in my 2010 SXT and how it can play DVD's as well. I have checked on my deck and it is the style that you can add the screens to. I have made the connection cable and tested it out on one of my extra TVs that I had laying around the house and it all worked flawlessly. The question that I am wanting to ask is this. I have seen that some of the 2009's and 10's came with navigation, where as mine just came with a "mini glove box" (as I call it) Is there anyway that I can buy the center counsel surround without the navi screen in it so that I can put a monitor in the opening? If so, what size screen in the navi. If the answer is no, then I will have to break out the fiberglass and make something where the cubby is at now. Another question, I forgot to test the screen with just the sirius on, but does the output show what is on the screen when you aren't playing a dvd?? (Like the title, artist, time, etc....)) Hello to all here!! I am a new Dodge Journey owener from up north, Bismarck ND. I just picked up my 2010 Dodge Journey on Monday the 31st. Haven't had to much time to dig into the vehicle, but so far I love it!!! Got a good deal that I couldn't pass up at the "Steal"ership. But will say that I absolutly love the ride quality of the vehicle. Nice and quiet, especally with the V6. Hope to be on here quite frequntly and hope to learn plenty from the forums. Hope to get some great insight and help along the way as well. Matt
