  1. You could end up being correct, but Dodge did advertise the 2012 Journey Crew with the red stripe logo on the front here.
  2. Good thoughts, but since it's just my wife and I we don't have the 3rd row and will rarely use the 2nd row so I'd rather just have all the mats match. Thanks
  3. I got my Husky front mats from Amazon last night; they have the 3 bumps, so I won't need to swap them with Husky.
  4. I got a clarification e-mail from Dodge: I’d like to further clarify. The Journey R/T opened up for retail ordering late in the day on October 3rd. Other markets were opened for ordering prior to October 3rd. When the ordering system opened up for retail orders, the cloth interior was available to order in error, and was shut off shortly after (within an hour). However, in the meantime, 10 orders came in with cloth interior. Since the plant was already taking orders with cloth interior for other markets, and since the orders were placed prior to October 4th, these 10 units were able to get built with cloth interior. I hope this helps answer your questions. Please let me know if you need additional information. Sincerely, Shannon Costello
  5. I got a response from Dodge about the seats: There was a running change to make leather interior standard on the Journey R/T that went into effect starting with orders placed on after October 4th. The vehicle listed on the window sticker was ordered on October 3rd. Your order is currently in D1 status (Gateline) and has an estimated ship date of December 16th , and is no longer eligible to receive the cloth interior. I apologize for any inconveniences this may have caused you. Please let me know if you need any additional information. Sincerely, Shannon Costello The thing that doesn't make sense is that I was unable to place an order for a 2012 Dodge Journey R/T until the middle end of October. I know because I kept trying to order from several dealerships from about the beginning of September on. So they're basically telling me that I missed the window to order cloth when the window was never open. Bummer.
  6. I think that the black leather with red stitching looks nicer, but you can't beat how cloth is warmer in the winter, cooler in the summer, and won't wrinkle or crack like leather does over time.
  7. I wonder if they had some leftover 2011 interiors that they just threw in the first few non-special order R/T's to roll down the line? I'm so bummed because I really wanted the cloth interior, was told it doesn't exist, and then the cloth interior is in the first one I find.
  8. (I posted this in the interior forum too, but just thought it would better apply to the buying, leasing, and ordering thread... sorry for the double post.) Alright... explain this to me. I just came across a 2012 Dodge Journey at Feeny Chrysler Jeep Dodge of Midland in Michigan. It's the first 2012 Dodge Journey R/T that I've come across in the midwestern United States, and it comes with a cloth interior (I called them and verified that it does in fact have a cloth interior). You can view the window sticker HERE to see what I'm talking about. The weird thing is that the 2012 Dodge Journey R/T doesn't come with a cloth interior... it's not on the website, in the brochure, or available through ordering. Can somebody please explain to me how a cloth version exists??? I REALLY wanted to order my 2012 R/T with cloth, but was told that it doesn't come with it... and now the first one I find has it. My 2012 Dodge Journey R/T hasn't been built yet, so I'd like to figure this out ASAP incase I need to try and make a change to my order. I've asked my dealership about it.

  10. I ordered a full set of the Huskies from Amazon tonight; it was A LOT cheaper than ordering directly from Husky. Husky assured me that if I get the 2 bump model instead of the 3 bump model that they will replace it free of charge even though I didn't order directly from them. Nice!
  11. I also contacted Husky Liners today; they've modified their mats to include 3 floor hook bumps so that they're compatible with 2012 models or earlier. I have pictures that they e-mailed me, but apparently I can't post them because the forum cut my picture "global upload quota" at 500k.
  12. I found several pictures of 2012's online; they definitely have 2 floor hooks on the drivers side:
  13. Hmmm... I just took a look at the Mopar premium carpet floor mats (item #82212856) for the 2012 Dodge Journey on the Mopar website... from the picture it looks like it is a single floor hook design: Are there any 2012 Dodge Journey owners out there that can confirm the single floor hook design on the 2012 Dodge Journey?
  14. Can anybody please tell me how many floor hooks are on the drivers side in a 2012 Dodge Journey? I really want to order some WeatherTech FloorLiner DigitalFit mats for my 2012 Dodge Journey R/T that should be rolling of the production line soon. The problem is that WeatherTech doesn't list mats for the 2012 model; the 2011 model with a single hook design is the latest that they offer. Do the 2012's have 2 floor hooks or 1 floor hook on the drivers side? I'm assuming that if the floor hooks are the same then the 2011 floor mats will be compatible with the 2012 model. Thanks
  15. Then again... the brochure clearly states that the satin aluminum wheels are standard on the Crew... unless that's changed since the brochure was published...
  16. I'm just speculating here... but I'm thinking that since they've made the sporty "R/T" the top model, that they want the Crew to be closer to the now defunct "Lux" model... hence the required flashy wheels.
  17. I also just got another response from Dodge regarding my "front grille logo with red stripes" question; it looks like I'll be getting the new logo "Dear XXXXX: Thank you for contacting the Dodge Customer Assistance Center in regards to your 2012 Dodge Journey Heat AWD Hatchback. According to our website it shows they are coming with the red stripes on the emblem. To verify this we recommend you see your Sales Manager at your dealership. Thanks again for your email. Sincerely, Sabrina Customer Service Representative Dodge Customer Assistance Center For any future communications related to this email, please refer to the following information: REFERENCE NUMBER: XXXXXXXX EMAIL CASE NUMBER: XXXXXXX REPLY LINK: XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX"
  18. I e-mailed my dealer; here's their (very fast) response: You startled me! I was recently diagnosed with high blood pressure and needed to take an additional pill after reading that! It also didnt show your sunroof, but after looking into your order the Journey is equipped the way you ordered it! The wheels show a code of WPY (satin carbon painted) and I confirmed your optional equipment. And it is an AWD R/T. They no longer "produce" the Heat.
  19. That could be a problem for me... they wouldn't have any other R/T's with the satin carbon finish wheels on the lot. I agree with you; I won't buy the car if it doesn't have the wheels I want.
  20. Yeah... I wouldn't want them. I LOVE chrome wheels, but I think that the chrome wheels that they offer on the Journey are styled more for a "luxury" look as opposed to appearing "aggressive" (which is what I'm going for with the R/T model). The satin carbon finish wheels that it's supposed to come with achieve that more aggressive look in my opinion.
