Same thing happened to my 2011 R/T this weekend....no sound at all...no chimes, beeps, anything! Unplugged and replugged the power to the amp....Bingo!! Came right back on..Will make an appointment to have the dealer follow the TSB instructions next time I am in for an oil change. Can a bigger powered amp be used as a replacement?? Matt

DodgeCares, Add me to the list...As drb227 has stated...I believe that Chrysler/Dodge needs to make good on the stated features of 2011 8.4n radio....at the very least some type of upgrade procedure and at most a total swap out for the hardware updated unit. Thanks, Matt

I second the request for an update for the 2011 8.4N.... Also...I have been trying to determine if this radio will ever have sirius traffic capability as well as the travel link weather radar maps....can't seem to find a straight answer anywhere.. -M

Human Thanks for the nice comments! The vehicle so far has been great. Taking it on a 220 mile trip to see my daughter in college on Friday. Looking forward to seeing how the highway mileage is.... No special techniques on wax. Just a really thorough wash and then I use Meguiar's NXT Generation Tech Wax 2.0 liquid. I do this three consecutive weeks and then the car is ready for the winter. Windancer...there is not a bumper guard on the rear bumper....just appears that way from the reflection...I wish I could find one of those that is not 200.00.... Matt

Hello! Thought I would post a few pictures of my new Black 2011 Dodge Journey R/T!! Was very happy with this purchase! Got a fantastic deal...31,360 list....out the door for 25,300! I wanted the 8.4" Uconnect (Not many around) and I was able to find one about 75 miles from my house! Went to the dealer and they were great! They got the car in one day. I detailed the car inside and out...and gave it the first coat of wax. Turned out pretty good.... Ordered the rear cargo mat, and also some new HIR Headlights...I have not installed them yet, but supposed to be way better than Silverstars and similar to HID without all the cost and hassle..I will take photos of that install... (Here is info...HIR Bulb Info) Will be ordering the Dodge side sill protectors and mud flaps..... Here are some pictures...(My dogs decided to be in the photo shoot!!) Enjoy! Matt
