  1. They make step bars. I have a set on my 2011. Love em. Useless to me. Im 6'5", but my kids and the wife who is 5"2 uses them. lol Completes the vehicle too i think. I dont recall the name of the manufacturer but i baught through the dealer. They may have been Deezee. They ordered from a local performance shop in town and installed. Wasnt messin around installing them myself, plus it went in for undercoating the same day so all was sealed tight underneith to protect from salt. When they are clean and the truck is clean, its sharp.
  2. No worries guys. i decided to get the dealer to do it so i wouldn't have to worry about drilling, etc. You do need to drill two holes in each side for these ones (i believe they are Deezee as well). The holes need to be drilled through some sort of drain sill or something. Found a description online about it but cant find it again. Other than those two holes on each side that need to be drilled, the remaining hardware mounts to the existing mounts underneith on the frame. The part# on my invoice was 221807. We will have a place next year where i can do the work myself...just dont have the room right now.
  3. Ordered them through the dealer, but i know they went through a speed shop locally here. I had to bring the Journey in for paint sealer and undercoating (we use salt on the roads in the winter up here) so they installed the step ups first then sprayed the undercoat underneath to ensure all the bolts were covered. They were $399.99 list price, but i got em for $304.00 plus tax and labor which came to $466.81. Not too bad. The part# on my invoice shows as 221807 if this is any help. Next time i'm in i will ask the guys at the parts desk what make it was as i cant see any branding at all on the one on our truck.
  4. got em on...they look great. fills out the body of the 2011's nicely.
  5. just ordered mine for my 2011 today. 305 plus tax. Not bad at all. Seen a few pics online and it looks nice...plus its functional for my girls who are small.
  6. oh it is fun. Hence the 3 kids and one on the way! lol Im going in monday to see what kind of price i can get with the dealer.
  7. Brand new here and the wife and i were talking about this very same thing a few weeks back. im 6'5" and have no issues but our girls are very young and a little too independent and always want to get into it themselves but always struggle. The wife is only 5'2" herself so getting these makes sense. They also set the look of the Journey off too...totally changes the lines on it. I may have to go into the dealership and see what kind of price i can get for them. When i go in and order/install will take some pics.
