The dealer said that is normal for the vehicle, saying they even checked 2 other units on the lot and they did the same thing. Dealer called Chrysler and they said that is normal operating. I still concerns me that it is doing this at alland what type of moisture is accumulating in between the headliner and the roof. Dealer said they place a little foam in there to help limit the ttransfer of cold at that point, it was not separated or broken they said, but was just transferring the cold. Guess that mean it will also be heating the ducts in there as well if it is hot outside. Thank you for listening to my rambling. Rich

The area is towards the third row, but it is showing on the outside of the car. It has not shown itself on the inside yet and i am trying to make sure that it does not do so. It is about 3-4 inches in front of the rear roof rack base, after the AC has been running a while it will get really cold. Rich

Well we took the Journey back to the dealership and it has an appointment for tomorrow. The sales manager, service writer and the shop foreman all looked at the area and touched it and said wow that is nice and cold. There is a lot of interest in the shop and sale area as to the cause. I guess if I said and AC leak they would have though I was being smart. Anyways I want to provide a quick update and I will let people know when it has been identified and hopefully corrected. I am do not like the idea of having to remove the headliner on a brand new vehicle. Rich

I was just wondering if anyone knew when there will be an update for the Uconnect 8.4 system to correct the channel name to number inaccuracies. For Example when you say tune to Prime Country it will tune to channel 61 (the old channel number) It is a great feature to have if it works but frustrating if it does not. We just picked up the Journey yesterday and I have done the software update offerred on the Dodge website, but that did not address this issue. Thank you, Rich

We just picked up our new Journey lastnight and when we stopped after a drive we noticed there was a spot on the roof where a lot of water was condensating and it was very cold to the touch. The Journey has the rear A/C option and I am wonderinf the duct work was not installed correctly or is leaking up there. The cold place is not centered over one one of the vents, but is nearest the passenger side rear vent. I am not thrilled at the tought of having the headliner removed from the vehicle. I also do not want to have water pooling and sitting on the roof all the time it is being driven with the A/C on. Has anyone esle experienced the problem and if so what did they find as the cause.
