this shipping system is really pissing me off. My car has been sitting at the local rail junction for over 2 weeks. originally the eta was 4/25, but after many days of delay, it is now 5/6.

get some trucks already and ship it to the dealership

one thing lacking very much in this forum, PICS, you guys need to post pics of everything, it makes a forum all more exciting, get a account on photobucket and put up pics of your ride. i see new 2011 members pop up all the time but they never put up pics of their ride.

come on people, post pics, they're worth a 1000 words.

yes, the charger and journey both "had" the 3.5 engines. the intake manifold on the charger is different, but it will definetely not give +19 hp, the journey is rated at 235 hp and the charger at 250, also the charger is tuned for performance, while the journey not so much so. here is a pic of the intake manifold.

The tracking system was behind by about three days for me: I've been driving my new R/T for two days now, but the tracking system still says it hasn't made it to the dealer yet. It was actually funny... the day it arrived, I thought the salesman who called me was trying to play a prank on me, just 'cause he knew I've been so excited about "the big day". And since the tracking system said the truck is still in Edmonton, my answer to the salesman news "Sir, your car has just arrived" was "Yeah, sure, nice try!".

I bet he doesn't often get that reaction from a customer :-)

Anyway... it's here now and it's absolutely spectacular in every aspect. But for the tracking system... you might get your car sooner than you think. For the record, I've ordered mine on Feb 28 and received it on April 28.

Honestly, I don't know how much faith to put in this tracking system. My dealer told me delivery was scheduled for April 25th, which came and went. My Chevy lease went back to the dealer on that day.

Up until yesterday, the INSIGHT tracking website was saying May 03 - well I can live with that.

Check it today - the train is just to the south in ND...but now delivery is slated for May 12!!!

We're in the middle of a severe river flood, which affects the route...I wonder if that's a factor.

I need to call my dealer - May 12 without a car is really stretching it!

this is true, when i first started checking it a few weeks the ETA was 4/25 but a few days it got bumped to 4/26 and then 4/29, and yesterday it got bumped to 5/2 . it's at the local rail junction, but i just think the shortage of trucks is making it being delayed even more.

there is probably a short circuit between your opening device(lock) and your wiper mechanisms. which could be that an electrical current is jumping from one wire to the other. not really an electric guru, but that's my guess.

nope, no hard drive, that's why they put in sd card readers to make up for that.

anyone that is using ethanol, do you see a performance gain, or is it the same, i'd like to try it in the journey when we get it.

actually the first link doesn't work, i just checked. so just open up the status of my vehicle and replace the vin with your car, the vin is 17 characters, so make sure it is replaced.

i think everyone with a journey on order will love me for this, should of posted earlier but there is a website you can use to track the building of your vehicle and shipping status, i found out about it a week ago from chargerforums.

THIS WILL ONLY WORK IF YOUR VEHICLE IS BEING BUILT OR IS ON THE WAY, NOT IF YOUR VEHICLE HAS NOT BEEN BUILT YET.

where i typed:(put vin here) replace that with your vehicle vin, make sure you take out the parentheses too, everything i bolded, replace that with the vin(vehicle identification number) of your vehicle.

I dont really like the Durango, I find the exterior a little roudish, but its only a matter of taste I find the Journey look is more aggresive.

My decision is final now, I chose the Journey over the Explorer...

I am now trying to find a Black or Blue R/T with Navigation, BlueTooth, Driver Convenience, and Hitch. Hope I find one at a reasonable price.

you're not going to have many choice with colors, they have pitch black which you can get but i know blackberry is not available.

Those are pre production models just to show what the new fascia will be like, they wouldn't take the old fascia to show the 2011 dodge lineup in front of reporters and such

The 4.3 is still a very nice system, but still this sucks bigtime
