  1. Thank you!. The Window Sheet was still with the manual with this (previously owned) Journey and it said SXT, yet it has the R/T on the vehicle (at the rear) and all the options were as per the R/T. The info you provided proved to me that it was not just a "dressed up" SXT.

    Gas mileage

My first test drive on the highway and the dash readout reports 32 mpg at 100k/hr... I will be happy if it only averages around 22 mpg! I will report what I am actually getting in a few weeks.
  3. Hello! I purchased apreviously owned 2010 Journey R/T on Jan 8/2011. This is for my wife and our first impressions are very positive! I do have some questions but will check out what others have discovered first. I recently retired from a telephone company (technician, computer programming, engineering) and currently do systems support and sales for a parking systems company. My wife is an office manager in a doctors office. Our previous 3 purchases were new Saturn Vue SUVs... kept trading one in for a newer model. We still have the 2009 model, I drive that.
  4. Wow... I am impressed!! I am a Techie and don't get impressed easily, but his Journey has a lot going for it! It is my wife's ride and she loves it as well. This is a previously owned purchase. The vehicle is loaded except for Sunroof, NAV system, and Rear Video Screen. Here are our first impressions; We love; - powerful 3.5L V6 - the fuel efficiency actually reports 8.7L/100KM at 100KM/Hour (HWY) - Yet to be verified - awesome Stereo/DVD system - Yet to figure out the DVD - the dashboard layout and console - the comfortable seats and ride (has Kuhmo High Perf. Tires which are great!) - how it handles ice and snow, traction control works great! - superb safety rating - interior storage and convenience features too numerous to mention There is much more I could say, but I will wait for a few months report what our experince is. I did check with the Dealer in town and found out that the vehicle has only been in for warranty work twice.. for the Radio both times shortly after the in service date. It even has the Gold Plus 4/80 extended warranty!
  5. Ahh... Thank you! I love the Journey. Actually, it is my wife's ride, I drive a Saturn Vue. She is realy impressed... I will post a message about our initial impressions in the appropriate place.
  6. Having thought about it a bit more, I imagine this is a sensor that detects whether it is dark enough to warrant turning on the interior lights when entering?
  7. I just picked up a previously owned 2010 Journey. It has Reading lights on the overhead console between the visors. The driver and passenger lights work fine, but between them there appears to be another light or sensor of some sort. It does not light up, so I am wondering what it is. Anyone know what I am talking about?
