Hey guys, I have a 2 year old Journey with just 26k on mileage. Yesterday on my way home from the mall, it won't start. Engine won't even crank. Normally, I would put the key in the "on" position and wait till the chime sound ends then I start the car. But yesterday, after the sound chimes I tried starting the car, but nothing happened. As if something got unplugged or got loose. After a few unsuccessful tries, I called for a battery boost. After 15 mins of waiting I tried starting the engine again but this time, I didnt wait for the sound to end, and behold, the engine started. This morning, I did the same thing and everything looked good. Question, should bring my car to the dealership for a check-up or my car should be ok and this is just normal? thanks

I have the most basic Journey (SE). It comes with power door locks, but I wanted to have keyless entry installed. Since it's not factory installed, I have to get it installed somewhere else. I've been searching and most keyless entry units come with either remote starter/alarm. Should I get one of these and have them installed? Someone told me that I may have to get a bypass(???) as well. I'm only after the keyless entry. Any suggestions? Thanks.
