Our '18 doesn't even have 50,000 miles. Got it from my parents (my mom didn't even put 30,000 on it from when she got it at 20,000 miles) after my wife went deer hunting with er '16 Journey. I don't want to go with an aftermarket GPS if I can avoid it

I end up with broken Nav and a mad wife?

Will this work for a 2018 Journey? The original post states it will work with 2013-2017 Journeys.

I know some other UConnect 8.4 vehicles have map upgrade procedures figured out using standalone Garmin GPS units. Has someone figured something out for the Journey? My wife totaled her 2016 Journey out this fall, and we ended up replacing it with a 2018 with an 8.4 UConnect with navigation. The 2025 map update is the last one that will be provided for it, and given that it doesn't even have 50,000 miles on it, I'd like to keep updating the maps on it for longer if possible.
