  1. The videos said there were screws in back, which is not the case on mine anyway (2018 DJ Crossroad AWD 3.6L). Dean was right about just pulling up. (Thanks Dean) I ended up using a Duralast one from Autozone since it was all that was in stock at that time and I had a $150 gift card. I replaced the gaskets when I had my mechanic replace the spark plugs earlier this week. If the coil ends up being bad, what brands are recommended? It's working now, but I'll do a longer test drive tomorrow to confirm. What a PITA this 2 hour job is. It's easy, but way too involved for what used to be simple 15-20min job on a 90s car. I've discovered that it's doable though.
  2. So I've discovered this year does not have screws in back like most videos mentioned. Thanks!
  3. Hey everyone, I'm changing an ignition coil, but cannot remove THIS thing. I'm told there are two screws behind it. Can't find them- even with light and mirror. It would help to know what this thing is called. I've spent 45 minutes online trying to find out what it's called so I can find pics and visually see the screw holes. I'm stuck and stopped at this point. VEHICLE: 2019 DJ Crossroad AWD 3.6L BACKGROUND: Spark plugs were changed this week. (apparently previous owner(s) never changed them - worst I've ever seen). Due to the insane method of changing them, I paid a local mechanic to change them for me. Now, I need to change a coil #5 (P0305). I can't pay him for all that again, so I'm doing myself. I'm a basic car guy, but I'm cussing out the engineers on this one. TLDR: I need to know name of this part, especially to VISUALLY find out back screws location I'll need to feel for in order to change an ignition coil. Thanks in advance!
