We took our car to get an Overdue Oil Change and A State Inspection. We took it to a Quick Lube, since they are able to do both in one trip. They started with the oil change, and then proceeded to the inspection, they got a code P1D83, which they first stated, "It has nothing to do with what we did". Now we hadn't had a Engine light pop at all prior to bringing it, for months. Maybe years. Now we can't get our new registration because he said its a "Manufacture" Code and they cant do anything about it and we have to take it to the dealership. Seems like they might've messed something up in the process of the oil change. But who knows for sure, will update for future people. I see nobody ever gave insight to what happened with their code.
