Ok, my wife's 2017 Dodge Journey Crossroad passenger side seats headrest has randomly been deployed. I watched a video on how to fix it but it wasn't clear on how to release the mechanism that holds it in place. I tried hooking it up straight to the battery but it unlocks briefly while connected but it seems like it is getting to much power cause the wires get hot so I have to remove them. Does anyone know an alternative way to do it? Other than getting someone else to put it on briefly while I pull the headrest back in to position.
