Good Evening, I have a 2017 Dodge Journey SXT 2.4 L, I had the common plastic T behind the engine cracking/breaking and it was repaired about a month back and the coolant has been replaced and air pockets have been bleed from the cooling system. Recently I was driving at about 70 mph for closed to 1 - 1.5 hours on the interstate and the outdoor temp was between 50-60°F. I was questioning the temps because my Coolant would peak at 208-210°F with heat on and without heat/air on it would peak at 221°F and would begin to drop when it got to this point. About 30 minutes into the drive the Engine oil got to 210°F and with heat off it got to 221°F but didn't go any further. On the digital thermostat when it reached 221°F it was like one notch below the red H. My transmission temp ran at around 130-145°F during the drive. Lastly, the analog thermostat guage stayed directly in the middle and would slightly move a little to the right (warmer) but that was when the coolant was at 221°F. Personally at least from everything I can find, it seems fine however I was concerned that the oil may be a bit high as well as the coolant getting to 221°F. I was wondering during if there was an actual Ideal/Normal temp range that everyone recognizes because before the T broke, I wasn't actively checking these temps so I'm not sure what temps it was running at before. I can't really find anything online that's says an exact temp range for each, and I'm not seeing a range in my manual as well. I've done a couple troubleshooting steps as well. I've filled my coolant resivoir to the MAX line and held it steady at 2 RPM while in park once the analog guage reached the middle to try to bleed out any hidden air pockets, the coolant resivoir level didn't move. I'm pretty sure the radiator fan is working because it turns on if I turn on the AC. I've changed the engine air filter early as well as the cabin air filter, and did an early oil change (full synthetic). I would appreciate any assistance with identifying if this is normal, I think I'm truthfully just worried due to the issue with the T breaking previously and want to make sure I'm taking every precaution, and not neglecting it.
