  1. Okay so I got some electrical spray and cleaned the contacts thoroughly. It's losing connection less it seems. Still not dependable. I took the ECM apart and the solder on the pins is all good. I've got it narrowed down to pins 1-38, which is the connector towards the passenger side. I need to find a pin out wiring diagram so I don't have to troubleshoot every wire. I'm assuming it's either ground or + on that connection. Next step is to replace the connector? I'd prefer it to just be a pin or two if I had a diagram. ?
  2. Previous owner put dielectric on connectors so that could be the problem. It may have gotten down into the connector so might be a little difficult to clean unless there's a spray I could use. I'll give it a go and post results
  3. Hey new to forum and new proud 09 Journey RT owner. At random when I try to start up I get a flashing red security light and no cranking. If I get out and push on the connection closest to passenger side of the ECM, it starts right up and runs fine. Also when it does this the remote start won't work. I'm thinking a pin is loose inside the ECM. As far as I've read to replace the ECM it has to be programmed at the dealership? Or are ecms from flagship1 really plug and play? It's so sporadic that I keep forgetting to fix it and all I have to do is open the hood and wiggle it and I'm good to go, but someday, likely, will be the last time that works. So any help on getting it replaced??
