This car is not my favorite thing right now. P2504 logged code.
I assumed regulator in the alternator was shot so a new alternator went in.
Still getting 16v at idle. 14 with engine off. The voltage actually increases when turned off!
New battery, new voltage sensor on the negative terminal.
Radio shuts off sometimes.
Battery saver mode will show up now and then.
Sometimes it will fully discharge over a 4-5 hour period, this happened twice in thr last 10 days.
The plastic around the under hood jumper terminal was melting and smoking today.
Anyone able to help.?
