2014 Dodge Journey 3.6L V6 FWD 188k mi
Check engine light and traction control light are on so I read the engine codes and got P0016 and P0369. Acceleration is very bad, especially on hills where there is essentially no acceleration at all. On the highway above ~55mph the whole car has a shake to it and as soon as you release the pedal the whole car sort of pulls back and fairly rapidly decelerates. Looking up the codes I found:
P0016 - Crank/Cam Position Correlation – Bank 1 Sensor “A”
P0369 - Camshaft Position Sensor 2 Circuit Intermittent Bank 1
My first thought was to change the camshaft position sensors and see if that solves the issues and if not try the crankshaft position sensor or maybe even take it to Dodge to have them troubleshoot (I was actually scheduled to take the car into Dodge for a diagnostic but the battery was dead the morning I was supposed to take it in so I had to change the battery). I thought I'd try here first and see if anyone has seen a similar issue.
Thanks for reading and for any help!
