I have the same problem, and it happening more frequently. Dash lights, door chime, all guages not reading, and wipers going bonkers. This is a major concern for me as this is my wifes car. My car does not have bluetooth or remote start, so those are not factors for me. Has anyone been able to get this resolved?

Nice work, well done. You mentioned in the things you might do that a guy put a GPS in the center dash compartment. I have been considering this and trying to find "the guy" or post that you mentioned. Do you mind posting a link here? I tried searching and come up empty handed. Thanks,

I just purchased my Journey last night! Its a 2009 SXT 3.5 - I have been shopping for a while and gathered lots of useful infor from this site. I noticed something when I put the pedal to the floor on my way home. I was going about 50 MPH and floored it to get to about 70 MPH. I was not impressed with the get up but its enough for what I need. However, when I let off the gas pedal, it took 1-2 seconds for the RPM's to calm down. Is this normal? It seemed borderline unsafe to me. Please let me know if this is typical or if I need to have it looked at. I purchased it used from a Ford dealership but it only has 32K miles so I can still have it looked at by my local Dodge dealership under the warranty.
